How many people have to die before a situation becomes horrific enough that aid is afforded them?
If Katrina 'officially' killed somewhere in the park of 1,836 people. Two different earthquakes in California 1989 - 69 people and 1993 - 57 people died. Somehow these are more naturally out of control to the inflicted then health insurance cutting off when people are most in need. What makes the disaster inflicted on these people any less horrific?
The health insurance disaster is worse than Galveston Texas. Pretty much every month more people are killed by their insurance situation than the worst natural disaster in US history. Look it up, sad fact really.
So every month nothing gets done to resolve the health situation a unnatural disaster occurs. It is not windy, wet, and doesn't destroy property; the sacred cow what makes a disaster in the United States a real disaster. This disaster is a silent disaster, that is preying on an American near you.
