OK, what planet is this guy living on??
I just saw this posted by one of my FB "friends":

"Chapter 7: THE BASIC RIGHTS, FREEDOMS, AND DUTIES OF CITIZENS OF THE USSR; Article 40. Citizens of the USSR have the right to work, Article 41. Citizens of the USSR have the right to rest and leisure,Article 42. Citizens of the USSR have the right to health protection,Article 44. Citizens of the USSR have the right...s to housing. Are we adopting the USSR Constitution?"

One of his buddies answered with "Actually, it's been like this for quite some time now".

Seriously, WTF??????!!

3. I told him that No, we don't have any "rights" in this country post Pariot
Act, except the right to enrich the corporate fats cats who control our Nation.

2. This is why I hesitate to "friend" people on FB.
I only have six friends on FB, but I know I can go there and not have to see that kind of nonsense. Everyone is different. Some people can see that, shake their heads and move on. I can just feel my blood boil when I see that kind of stupidity.

4. I'm a self employed illustrator/ animator and use FB to network professionally
this guy in a professional fantasy illustrator-though obviously he's living inside one of his own creations.

WHERE do such insane ideas come from? What "evidence" does someone like that see for such beliefs?

6. My goodness. Who would put such a thing on their professional FB page.
I have a FB page like that, and I never ever ever have anything that could stir controversy links, liked or mentioned. I just do not understand people who have to be "edgy" all the time.

Where does this kind of nonsense come from? Fear. This guy is afraid of something. I don't know what, but I've yet to meet people like this who didn't just seem irrationally terrified of the world and all of its occupants.

7. Let's not forget hatred. He wouldn't want to think that anyone "unworthy"
would get a penny of his tax dollars for *gasp* health care! But I'm sure he has no problem with spending trillions on wars of choice.

Amazing how well the propaganda works for the other side.

8. It makes me so sad, so sad, that people can be this selfish.
I can't even read my brain around that kind of thought process. well, I use the word "thought" as if he were actually thinking.

5. If I am not mistaken that is a list of the rights the USSR included in
their constitution. They were more interested (at least on paper) in the social situations in peoples lives than things like freedom of speech, etc.

9. Have your friend read Gulag Archipelago and have him read up on article 58.
Your friends ignorance regarding the laws in the former USSR incredible.
