How much of the administration's effort to pass this bill is inspired by real concern for Americans, and how much by politics? When McDLC, Rahm Emanuel, talks about other presidents "kicking themselves" for not compromising http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2009/12/18/rahm-emanuel-dont-worry-about-the-left/ is it because they regret having missed a chance to improve the lives of millions of Americans, or because they missed a golden, historic, legacy building, opportunity to be the first president to bring "universal health care" to the US?:shrug:
