Don't worry, some of us smart people manage to procreate also. I had three to counterbalance the trend. And at least two of them are really, really smart.

Also, there is no absolute proof that intelligence is hereditary. To paraphrase the line from the film Real Genius, asked of young Mitch after meeting his parents, "Are you by any chance adopted?"
