7. That's Why Reid Started Things So Early...
This is what the Senate always has done...slowed things down...play with procedure and "precedence" as the way they do (or don't) their job. It's become dysfuncaiton in recent years as it's become more partisan and the rushpublicans see their only role as to obstruct. But this is what their great unhinged wants them to do. Dare I point out that during the boooosh regime, many of us cheered on Democrats who did similar tactics.

Remember, these oxygen thieves are running out of tricks and time. Hopefully we get a cloture vote late tonight and this show moves on.

15. He'll Be There After Sundown...
...which according to my sundial should be around 4:30 or 5. They're not going for a cloture vote until midnight or later. Remember, it's gonna take 6 or 7 hours to read the entire bill...which they haven't gotten around to. This is gonna be a looooooooong day.

8. What's funny (read pathetic) is that some people actually think this is a good thing...
To have the amendment read aloud.

Because, they shouldn't sign a bill if they don't know what's in it.

Mind boggling, huh?

And, these are the people who vote every election but have no idea wtf is going on.

McConnell has just proved that some Republicans CAN TOO read.

OK, fine, point taken. Move on, please.

14. The Senator who asks for reading should DO the reading.
I'd like the Chair to say, "You want the bill/amendment read aloud? Fine. The microphone is yours."
