Sen. Reid mentioned that Senate aides are going to meet with the press, 1 PM EST.

Apparently it's a Q & A session aimed at providing specifics on the proposed bill as it stands now. Hopefully some clarifications as well.

I'll be interested to see what comes of the meeting and how thorough both the press' questions and the aides' responses are.

And the press has every opportunity to address what the influences were / are that effected the process.

I'm not going to write this meeting off before it even takes place.
