I've not read the bill, and even if i did, i doubt that I'd understand the legalese

From what I've read on various posts, it's a horrible horrible bill. But it's also confusing, and my understanding of some details is a bit murky.

Could we use this thread as a reference, post the facts, good and bad about the bill. Put a label in the subject line, and add what you know about it in the post body.

Since it's a site run by the Kaiser Family Foundation, it should be acceptable even to the DLCers.

Some of the DUers who have been pleading for passage of the current proposals on the basis of needing coverage for pre-existing conditions will be disappointed at what is actually in the bills.
