The "Netroots" Are Also MSNBC Viewers
Edited on Sat Dec-19-09 01:44 PM by otohara
As a proud member of the "Netroots", I say we boycott Hardball & The Chris Matthews Show for labeling us as follows:

"I don't consider them Democrats," Matthews said of the far left, "I consider them Netroots. And if I see they vote in every election, or most elections, then I'll be worried. But I'm not sure they're regular, grown-up Democrats. I think a lot of these people are troublemakers who love to sit in the back seat and complain. They're not interested in governing this country. They never ran for office, they're not interested in working for someone in public office. They get their giggles out of sitting in the back seat and bitching."

Following up on TYT & Markos on The Ed Show....here's a selection of unforgettable remarks Tweety made about the manly president who won the war, but really he didn't.

We're proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who's physical, who's not a complicated guy like Clinton or even like Dukakis or Mondale, all those guys, McGovern. They want a guy who's president. Women like a guy who's president. Check it out. The women like this war. I think we like having a hero as our president. It's simple. We're not like the Brits. We don't want an indoor prime minister type, or the Danes or the Dutch or the Italians, or a Putin. Can you imagine Putin getting elected here? We want a guy as president.

The president there -- look at this guy! We're watching him. He looks like he flew the plane. He only flew it as a passenger, but he's flown --

He Didn't Fight in a War, But He Looks Like He Does.

He looks for real. What is it about the commander in chief role, the hat that he does wear, that makes him -- I mean, he seems like -- he didn't fight in a war, but he looks like he does.

Let me ask you, Bob Dornan, you were a congressman all those years. Here's a president who's really nonverbal. He's like Eisenhower. He looks great in a military uniform. He looks great in that cowboy costume he wears when he goes West. I remember him standing at that fence with Colin Powell. Was the best picture in the 2000 campaign?

I'll begin the line-up with Big Ed from now on, and turn it off during Tweety's second time slot.

2. Okay, Tweety.
I'm a member of the netroots. I am no kid at sixty-one. I have run for office, worked for candidates, and currently hold the chairmanship of our county central committee.

Screw you, Tweety.

4. It's hard to boycott a terrible show that you've never watched because you can't stand the host.
Just sayin'. ;)

6. If you're a proud member of Netroots and viewer of MSNBC then tell them...
to drop that back-to-back 'lock-down' bullshit night after night after night, cause it plays like someone at MSNBC either doesn't have enough product to cycle, or they're trying to lull people into thinking that with a couple tear drop jail tattoos and a coquettish demeanor debtor's prison really won't be all that bad. Matthews is just the rubber faced Irish goon of an endangered antique dino-saur and his teetering demographic trying to figure out, out of which, which side of his mouth: he will talk on to express his ham-handed brain - and why tweets don't have wheels like tweet-cars named desire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBbZKZWfk4I

These matters are held as enhanced truths by way of sample. Take them and do with them Progressively, but enhance them further if change is what you want. Either way, a change is coming and it is time to pick & choose
