1. Republicans are forcing Americans to purchase insurance?
And insisting the government cuts those private shareholders checks with public funds in the process?

You sure about that?

5. Who are" they"? Son, the basis of any good argument is clarity.
You can go around making impassioned straw man statements that may or may not be connected to reality. Have at it. But if you insist on using a signifier so flexible that it can apply to anybody from little green men to the toughs from the Lollypop Guild, then you are going to spend a lot of time restating your argument in terms which should have defined it in the first place.

Best advice: communication is the response you get. Several other people got my drift as is evidenced by the recommendations. If you didn't I can restate it in simpler terms.

6. Sounds boring
We don't like that. There is more to the picture than "us vs them"

3. Republicans have tried to force Americans to live with the existing system...
Democrats are pushing to reform it. I look forward to the bills passage and signing. Then we can get to work on making it better.
