If we are trying to lower costs why is there some interest group running a TV spot

bragging about how there are no medicare benefit cuts in the bill? We do have two public plans that we can use to cut costs and help to establish lower costs for private insurance as well. I understand cutting what we pay doctors and facilities by 70% which is needed will not happen in one cut but a 30% across the board with a pool too large for them to give up will work.
