OFA Caller?: "You Have a Yeast Infection"

Just got a local LA phonebank call from someone describing himself as being with OFA - Organizing For America. He asked if I support the new Health Reforn Bill and I said no. He admitted many people were saying that - then I proceeded to tell him why. Standard reasons, corporate, lobbyist input, sellout by Obama etc. Expected some sort of reasoned response, some sort of justification and encouragement to stay on board with the Administration.

At that point he just said "You Have a Yeast Infection" and hung up. Now, I ask you.....does OFA (if indeed that was the source) have anything better to say to the millions of us that are justifiably pissed by what is going on in DC?

BTW: I dailed the displayed caller ID and left the messsage "I'm blogging about this call". And I am.

4. Did you contact OFA and ask if they were indeed calling

on the issue? That seems like the sort of prank a teenager would pull. I don't have any fondness for groups like these - particularly when they call on a weekend afternoon - but that just seems a little too bizarre to be a real phonebank call.

Are they recruiting 14 year olds these days?

But the outgoing voicemail message did not identify. I hesitate to print it here since it might just be a loser doing phonebanking from his own cellphone (which I did before for OFA). I'll try the reverse directory thing...thanks.

you can sue the organization and also get him fired.
