Hunter criticized Iran and Iraq for not helping the US about Katrina

Hunter tried to get some attention by criticizing Kerry about his comment that the US was isolated by its foreign policy. Until there, nothing surprising or new. GOPers do not like to hear the truth.

However, more surprising is this comment:

Kerry said the Bush administration had isolated the United States by failing to cooperate with international efforts on global warming, AIDS, and other issues.

Speaking to workers at a military equipment manufacturer in Newington, Hunter said few of the of the world leaders in Kerry's audience had helped the United States after Hurricane Katrina.

The panel in question was a panel about the Middle East and many of those present were leaders of Iran, Iraq, and other M.E. countries.

In addition, it is false. Many foreign countries offered their help, only to be rebuked by the administration.
