The more I hear about the sweetheart deals and special provisions in the senate

health care reform bill the more pissed off I get. No taxes on insurers in Michigan but on insurers in every other state. These corrupt and self-serving jerks don't give a damn about you and I, it's all about them maintaining power.

1. It's the system and the 60 vote bullshit more than anything else.

He basically said any senator who didn't add a special provision for themselves was a fool and isn't doing their job.

They promise and promise the world , they get to DC and the greed kicks in and it becomes all about making themselves and their friends richer and gaining/staying in power. 8. I used to be against term limits

Being from MA I loved my senators. But I am of a different mind now. I think as long as they are focused on being re-elected and gaining more and more power they will not be focused on the good of the people.
