Stupid workarounds, and word games aint gonna get it. Straight out threats, to the companies, for scamming the american people might. We should NOT be considered a cash cow for any industry. Same with cost shifting in hospitals. Charging 12 bucks a tylenol, is robbery. No matter the justification. It is time to clear the moneychangers from the temple. Using silly ad hoc workarounds, is so pre crash. We need to put vampires on notice. There is no room for predators, and carpetbaggers.

Even if I am overstating the progressiveness of Obama's agenda.

1. +1 I agree reimportation is stupid.
Here is an idea pass a law that caps price of drugs at the rate sold to Canadians.

Sell xyz in Canada for $27 guess what you can sell it for <= $27 in the US too.

To sell drugs into Canda just to turn around and ship them back into the states is downright stupid.

Call it North American pricing agreement. Whatever price drug companies sell drugs to Canada (and they negotiate hard and are willing to use generics if price isn't right) then that is the max it can be sold in US.

Same outcome without a bunch of wasted time, money, and fuel to sell drugs to Canada so they can sell them back to us for cheaper than we can get them here (but still more than they bought them for + double shipping costs).
