I just want people to know that no one will be happier to be proven wrong once again than me. I sincerely hope that I am as wrong about this as I was about all these other things and I am fully prepared to make a formal apology to all of DU as soon as it happens. Which judging by my track record should be tomorrow.


I thought the Democrats would show some spine when they finally controlled it all. Wrong.

I thought Hillary was out of line when she called Obama out on his NO MANDATE ads. Wrong.

I thought the Democrats would put the people before the corporations. Wrong.

I thought when the Democrats were handed the House the Senate and the Executive they would stand up for gay rights. Wrong.

I thought Obama was telling the truth when he campaigned with a promise of a Public Option for all who wanted it. Wrong.

I thought the Dems would repeal the worst of the Bush bills, like the Patriot Act. Wrong.

I thought the Dems would put Joe Lieberman in his rightful place. Wrong.

I thought the Dems would end the policy of giving high economic positions in the administration to former and future employees of AIG, Goldman Sachs, and the like. Wrong.

I thought the Dems would take the lead in the Global Warming Crisis Wrong.

So I guess I'm probably wrong about this health care bill too. Time will tell. :evilgrin:
