Hmmm. Since I cannot reach you, you cannot reach me.
Today, I've tried multiple times to call my senators, Webb and Warner. I've tried to speak with a staffer, but when I chose that option, I get disconnected.

The second option was to just leave a message, indicating my preference is to kill the bill. Both senators' voice mailboxes were full. At this time, each office has left no way to contact them.

So, there is no reason for them to spam my email. I just unsubscribed to both of their email distribution lists.

There is no need to contact my Congressman. He is a Republican. No doubt he will vote to kill the bill.

1. Just email them
I send Obama an email almost every day--short and to the point. "My" members of Congress (I actually think BP, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil and assorted financial institutions own them), while very unrepresentative of by beliefs, receive one or two emails a week.

I've adopted Bernie Sanders as my senator, and I "copy" him on every email I send to Washington, D.C.. I also indicate on my emails to my own senators and representative that Sanders has been copied. I hope it irritates them.

Just get your message to them any way that works. If things get ugly, you'll have the right to say you told them so.

3. I'm very in tune with what you appear to be feeling right now
It's been twelve months of disappointments.
