Trucking Company Shuts Down With No Warning, Employees Say
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Just days before Christmas, truck drivers around the country, and in central Ohio, were out of work Wednesday, 10TV News reported.
Drivers for Oklahoma-based Arrow Trucking learned Tuesday that the company is going out of business.
The move came without warning and had workers scrambling to find work.
"I don't want welfare, no handout - I just want a job, just get me a job," said former Arrow driver, James Cooey.
Employees said their final check from the company bounced, 10TV News reported.
"Its three days before Christmas and we got the door slammed in our face - nothing I can do - try to find another job," said former Arrow driver, Leroy Sam.
