1. connect the dots with computerized privatized elections and work to change that

No matter how progressive a candidate sounds during the campaign, the fact that the overwhelming majority of our elections are conducted by private vendors using computers that are easy to manipulate in secret makes it clear that we can no longer guarantee that the image of the candidate we "elect" will match the actions of that candidate once "elected."

This article characterizes the problem so well:

We need to return to hand counted paper ballots at the precincts with public oversight &/or lever machines.

3. That's exactly what needs to get done, but unless there are term limits and campaign fund reforms
it will never happen in the numbers we need.

4. Barbara Boxer is my Senator and Barbara Lee my Congresswoman-both Progressive
Unfortunately Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi are also from the Bay Area so it's definitely a mixed bag.
