Facebook, I am getting very few options, mostly I get a blank screen and a waiting icon. to get main page I need to logoff/logon

from time to time. Must be problems with the site I think. I expect a few problems since I am dialup, but facebook operates fine one day and miserably the next.
Am a fairly new member on facebook...and am not impressed with it. I expected more.
