Hoekstra Blames Obama for failed terror attack...

It did not take long for Republicans to start attacking the Obama administration over the flight 253 attempted terror attack. Representative Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) said that it was time for people to "start connecting the dots here and maybe this will start connecting the dots for the Obama administration." Rep. Hoekstra has not even be briefed on the incident aboard flight 253 yet but he has clearly already "connected the dots" for himself.

Besides this criticism Hoekstra also criticized the Obama administration for calling the incident a "attempted terrorist attack." On his twitter account Hoekstra said, "Administration says attempted terrorist attack. No. It was a terrorist attack!." Rep. Hoekstra seems very anxious to declare the attempt aboard fligth 253 a success. So far all the reports have only the terrorist, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, actually being injured from the attempt as he suffered burns on his hands after trying to light the explosives taped to himself."

7. So here's my uncle-to-the-umpth-degree's reasoning:

Successfull attempt to kill thousands of people on American soil: praise the president for engaging in unrelated war.

Unsuccessfull attempt to kill hundreds of people on American soil: blame the president for not calling it a successfull attack. (And fail to praise the only people really responsable for the failure of the attempt: the Dutch man who jumped on the wannabe-terrorist. I guess the man was not American enough, considering he did not kill the wannabe-terrorist. Incidentally: the wannabe-terrorist had been granted a VISA by the president who oversaw the previous successfull attempt.)
