TSA will now allow the flight crew to determine if we can pee and keep a blanket on our laps during the flight. The previously issued no pee/no blanket order has been walked back.

I credit the Obama administration for the sane and rational walk-back. I blame the zealots at TSA (Bush holdovers and long-ago civil service hires) for the initial moronic policy statement.

Typical guilty behavior. Lots of passengers were asking them to do something and they pooh-poohed it away. Now they feel they need to overcompensate. Punish everyone for not acting correctly yourself.
