I'm not even angry anymore. He just makes himself increasingly irrelevant - not to say he ever *was* actually relevant in the last year. He really is becoming a cartoon. Kudos to msnbc for reporting this as a sidebar story but with no audio or video (so far, at least).

4. Cheeny is running interference for the intelligence agencies.

Now that we know that our intelligence agencies had some fore-knowledge of the underwear bomber Cheeny needs to deflect news from them to Obama.

Obama really needs to study the relationship between Cheeny and the intel agencies more closely. Their PR efforts seem extremely coordinated and designed to support each-other. Cheeny seems to be working with a faction of the intel community that has political leanings and aspirations. I believe that technically this could be called treason.

...... living where I do, I know more than a few of them. Most of them, politically, range from (truly) moderate to quite liberal. The few really wackadoodle people I've met have been in support or peripheral jobs (building maintenance, contracting/purchasing office, etc.). It is as if the nutters are also wannabes while the real people are very adult and just plain professional.

None of that is definitive ..... just purely anecdotal.
