Plans that need to change to reflect changing times.

Sometimes an idea sounded good and maybe could have even worked but changing times require, absolutely require, an ability to change your mind. I think of Captain Sully making a decision to land in the Hudson in about 1 -2- 3 seconds..."I'm in the Hudson"..changed course and saved his passengers.

Obama needs to change his mind about a few things...imo

Afghanistan, for example. I think going there before we invaded Iraq was a good idea. ...we got sidetracked. Obama campaigned on escalating Afghanistan Then, the financial crisis happened, major American cities now have 50% unemployment, millions are losing their homes, we have a bs congress owned by the lobbyists and wall street is still engaged in the biggest heist in the entire history of our country, not to mention healthcare and homeless and all the other nonsense thats going on...I think its a bad time to escalate troops..anytime is a bad time for someone like me..it is such a bad idea and I cant imagine any good that will come of it.

However, Obama's backed himself into a corner and I don't think he is capable of changing direction now. You know, saying I made a mistake and I'm changing my mind. He's the president and he will not change this direction unless millions of us get in the street. Its ego, and machisimo and pride and a lot of other very human frailties rolled into a mere human with a lot of power. He's gonna go for this and its going to undo him...and us.

I also wish he would change direction on war crimes and profiteering and look back just a little so that we as a nation can move forward. Its unwise to not face our demons...and immature.

I dont like it when something or someone stands in the way of our conscious evolution if it is within their power to assist..he's blowin it.

He's making a mistake right in front of our eyes and he won't change it..even if God spoke from a burning bush..I wish he would, but I dont think so..

1. To go to war because you feel backed into a corner

and don't want to admit you need to change course would be a crime against humanity. That is NO reason for war or escalation.
