I have this sneaking suspicion that the near miss on Christmas
Day is more connected to the closing of Gitmo than anything else.
Talk me down DUers.

1. I don't understand what you're saying.
The rethugs are now demanding Gitmo stay open because of what happened. So who'd benefit? And who is responsible if you think it's someone here which, btw, I don't believe.

2. Cheney and his Rethugs benefit
They don't want Gitmo closed although Bush and Cheney and Gramps said it should be closed (before Obama won).

3. So you think they hired this guy? As evil as they are, I think that's
a pretty far-out theory. And luckily, this admin told them to shove it despite this latest attempt.

10. It's not this guy that's the problem...
It's all the little bots they left "burrowed" throughout the government. They hired a lot of their minions into civil service jobs before they left. They are more difficult to fire than political appointees. I don't think this incident was planned. However, it would not surprise me if some burrowed Busheviks purposely let the information on this clown slide.

i doubt cheney is in on this, if i had to point a finger, I woould say the cruise missile attacks a few week backs were more inspirational than cheney!!
