Limbaugh released; sees nothing wrong with US healthcare
http://abcnews.go.com/WN/word-rushs-camp-limbaugh-rests-hospital/story?id=9461878

He was discharged from the hospital on Friday morning local time, according to a statement released by Limbaugh's show.

The right-wing talk radio king used the moment for a political shot at President Obama's massive effort to reform health care, saying he got the best medical care "right here in the United States of America." "I don't think there's one thing wrong with the United States health system," he said.

1. What a cold hearted, mean thing for him to say. Of course, as a
multi-millionaire he's going to have access to the best health care there is. Incidentally, no one has ever said health care in the USA
isn't good. What we are saying is that it isn't available to everyone who needs it and when 45,000 people a year die from illnesses that could have been cured because they don't have access, there is a big problem with the health care system.

3. Well, of course!
There are some other threads on here talking about why no one should wish this piece of frog shit dead as a doornail. It's mean to do that.

I don't wish him dead, but I ain't gonna grieve, either.

2. If I had his money, there'd be nothing wrong with my healthcare either.

Too bad he didn't show up at the ER with no money, no ID and no insurance.

5. Sadly, he's had a "wake-up call"
I hope he keeps sucking down the dangerous drugs, though.

And keeps on eating fried bacon fat with lard sauce.

their own interests

8. As I mentioned to another DUer, if I'd have shown up at the ER (uninsured) I'd have
been 'diagnosed' with stress or gas and sent home.

I'm ashamed to say that I found myself disappointed that he wasn't going to be suffering for a good long while. He's loathsome.

9. Oh, who knows what will happen?
He was probably chugging down illegal prescription pills.

Take heart - his complexion looks like he is not wearing sunscreen out there in the non-ozone sun rays, while he swings his golf club and thinks of new ways to spread evil.

12. Another 58 year old with chest pains and no health insurance
and no millions in the bank might think twice about calling an ambulance. And that would be taking a big risk.

I wonder if RL will even know what the total bill for an overnight stay plus emergency care and testing is.

13. So a multi-millionaire has others paying for his health care...
after all, that's what insurance companies do, pool people and use the money coming in to cover the costs of those who use the system.

Fact is, the people in his pool paid for his treatment, tests and a host of other things, the most Limbaugh spent was what he paid in premiums, and if there is a deductible. An extremely rich individual has others pay for his care, but has conniption fits if he foots any part of the bill for anyone else.

Next timne he complains about people earing cheeseburgers and getting care for cholesterol, he should remind those in his pool he's stuffing his face on a 24/7 basis.

14. Well no shit, you stupid fucking filth.
It's because you have millions of dollars. Say that if you have no insurance and no extra cash. The fucked up system worked just dandy for you, because only the wealthy deserve proper medical care right here in the United States of America! You are a vile, disgusting piece of garbage passed off as a human being, and I hope you burn.

19. Stop kissing our health care system's butt. It stinks.
First off they don't do anything but the more expensive stuff. For example, if you are someone who does not drink water, and by water I don't mean coffee, tea, kool-aid etc. you are really overmaximizing your kidney's work.

You could be setting yourself up for back pain and kidney stones, because the kidneys can't properly rid the toxins. So by drinking lots of water and walking you can do yourself a lot of good at virtually no cost.

So our doctor's do not examine diet, even though if someone eats twinkies and not much else...

And if they have a new wonder drug with kickbacks or bought a new diagnostic toy, you may be more prone to getting abused by it.

I have had doctors ask me, "Why don't you look your age?" "How did you lower your cholesterol without drugs?" So I figure if I tell them they can net millions, but not with a natural substance. Just research on your own. Essential for cells, hair, teeth, skin and bones. Find it in human grade.

is a wonder food. Soy. Canned salmon once a week. I am 44 and am told I look about 32.

For millionaires like Limbaugh, though, I am sure the system is great. He must have one of those Cadillac health plans I hear speak of.

People as rich as him are insulated from a lot of problems, including access to health care. Access for millionaires was never considered a problem.

snip: "Limbaugh told emergency workers he was taking medication for a back problem, sources said. However, at Friday's press conference Limbaugh denied that he had been taking the medications. He declined to answer further questions."
