What government agency is going to be used to enforce |

people buy private health insurance? I understand there is supposed to be a fine. But how do they propose to do it? Do they get sent a subsidy check first? And those of us over 50, when the increases in our current insurance reaches the point we can no longer keep it, do we get fined when we drop it due to the increases? Does that happen by the insurance company notifying the government and they then issue a citation?

They'll keep you at home under house arrest and disable all television broadcasts except for Faux News. If you vote republican in the next election, they'll give you amnesty.

In Massachusetts you submit a form with your state tax return showing evidence of coverage. If you don't have insurance, you lose part of your personal exemption.

3. Ah, that makes sense. Otherwise, enforcement itself would be cumbersome. |

7. U.S. Treasury and the IRS. |
|
The IRS will tax you and if you don't pay the taxes, the Treasury will garnish your wages. At least, that's how it is typically done.
