I know that some states(including my former state of Florida) require their Governors to be at least 30.I personally believe there should be no such restrictions since there were Political leaders younger than that.Eighteen is the highest I'll go.

2. Absolutely! And there should be age limits also. No one over 80. Or maybe 70. |

3. That is an interesting question. I don't know if my state has any laws about that. |
|
I know in a small town near here a 18 or 19yo was elected mayor several years ago. I would never vote for a teen for Gov or other high office personally.

4. i think that there should be restrictions on both ends... |
|
a minimum and a maximum age. for governor, 30 seems a reasonable minimum. 72 might be a good maximum. no particular reason- except to make room for some fresh blood. the idea of 'career politicians also bothers me, and isn't at all what the 'founding fathers' had envisioned.

18 for most offices, 25 for legislative, 30 for executive sound right.
Although I would love to see a 15 or 16 year old run for school board. I'd fund their campaign, not just work and vote for them.

12. Rather than have a regular election for a school age child on the school board. |
|
Have one additional spot on the school board with voice and vote that must be filled by a student that lives and attends a school within the school district.
Only students attending a school within the school district would be eligible to vote. I would further limit it to high school age students. And depending on whether the term of office is for the school year period or overlaps I might not allow seniors to be on the board. I would also not allow 18 year olds to vote.
