Limbaugh says he's OK

Rush Limbaugh says his heart's OK. At a brief news conference Friday, the 58-year-old conservative talk radio show host said medical tests showed nothing is wrong with his heart.

Limbaugh was released from a Honolulu hospital where he was taken because of chest pains during a vacation. Doctors said he did not have a heart attack or heart disease. Limbaugh said the doctors don't know what caused the pain, but his best guess is that he had a spasm in an artery.

He also said he was not taking painkillers. In 2003, he acknowledged an addiction to painkillers for severe back pain and went to rehab.

I have to say, after listening to Limbaugh talk more about health care, than his supposed health scare, I'm most skeptical.

Limabaugh equates illness with weakness. I think if he could have gotten by with denying the whole thing altogether, he would have.
