Been thinking about the effort that recalled Gray Davis and wondering if there's groundwork laid anywhere for how to take a more federal approach. Show politicians we're not prepared to wait until next year for them to act as the conduit of the public will they are supposed to be.
Next, I do what I can as an individual to stop the flow of money to the corporatocracy by supporting locally owned businesses, my grocery store is employee owned. A more radical me urges everyone to stop paying everything now, a kind of go 'all in' approach that requires such widespread commitment its likelihood is limited.
Caught the film 'The Corporation' on LinkTV this morning, the documentary is lengthy but always good for inspiration.
Above and beyond all else fight apathy and the atrophy in it, prove to the PTB we are more than the Pavlovian public they've come to expect.
Bound to be a bumpy ride but so is river rafting, I've never done it, but would bet there's a great sense of 'I did it' when its over.
