You have got to watch this!!
It's only a short video but this guy has figured out how to bring the most amazing computer -real world interaction to the masses..this is unbelievable..Worth every second of watching it..all of it.

At TEDIndia, Pranav Mistry demos several tools that help the physical world interact with the world of data -- including a deep look at his SixthSense device and a new, paradigm-shifting paper "laptop".

In an onstage Q&A, Mistry says he'll open-source the software behind SixthSense, to open its possibilities to all.

1. I watched it on the TED talks site last month. Truly amazing
a world without iPhones or laptops isn't far away.

4. Amazing. I love the "pinch from your paper and drop it to your monitor" thing.
I don't see myself getting unchained from my desktop any time soon, but being able to take meeting notes by hand (which I prefer) and dropping them onto my computer is cool.

5. It's cool, but it's really just a "wearable I-phone"
with some cool apps (like his ability to use the camera, recognize a weather map, and then overlay with other data).

You need a computing device, a camera, motion sensing device (like the I-phone), and a projector, some sophisticated object recognition software, internet connectivity, GPS, and the apps.

It's cool, but minus the projector, the I-phone has all of this. And some other phone now has the projector.

Still, the apps are neat. I wonder how smart his software really is... for example, would it know that you are looking at a weather map for last week when you pick up that copy of USA today and look at the back page?
