1. Dump truck for transport and use of the freight elevator? I think that's special treatment.
Rush is a fucking idiot.

5. Bull shit!
I used to work at a Catholic hospital in California that pampered them. Celebrities always got preferential treatment. True a lot of it was to protect them from the press and fans and to ensure their privacy, but it was preferential treatment nonetheless. There were special rooms for them and different entrances they could use among many other special privileges allowed them. They also got far more attention from the staff than ordinary patients because the hospital didn't want to piss them off.

7. I don't know about preferential treatment
But his wallet will be given preferential treatment when the $10,000 bill comes to him and he has no problem paying it unlike the vast majority of the uninsured or those of us with policies with so many co-pays we are like the uninsured.

8. So he waited for hours to see a doctor and had to ring twice for the nurse to bring pain meds?
I doubt it.

I suppose any old patient can have a press conference in the hospital, for example.

11. So the papers reported
that the wing were he was was shut off from the public. And that's not preferental treatment. Goodness knows what else they did to keep his cystic a** safe.

14. They were just assuming he was contagious - kept as far away from the other patients as possible. nt

16. It's kind of hard to call an employee based system single payer.

15. I have to admit I usually get preferential treatment.
But it's just because I'm so damned sexy. Just Kidding. Of course rich "celebrities" get preferential treatment.
