1. Yeah - this sucks. I'm in North Florida and it is a little better |
|
But still far too cold for my old bones.
What is bad is that with the unseasonably warm weather we've been having my flowers were still in bloom - at least the firespikes and shrimp plants. Plus, the narcissis got confused and have been blooming a full month early. Now even the narcissis are getting bedraggled.
I may have to move farther south!

2. I live in Houston and we have had cold weather since the end of November. |
|
No shorts and t-shirt weather at all.
I like it myself but it seems strange.

4. No, it's Limbaugh's hospital stay. |
|
All the hot air he was pumping out of Florida has gone, and that allowed all that socialist cold air from Canada to break through and invade the southeast.

and it has been Cold for days. Wind chill advisories and freeze warnings abound. I may have to move even further south if this is a trend.

8. during the spring, I remember a friend driving by on a sunny day |
|
and asking me what the heck I was doing. I was wearing shorts, tennies and a short sleeved shirt and sleeveless jacket and out for my usual 5 mile walk. It was 36 degrees but it felt good to me. :) I have acclimitized to the arctic. No hope now.
