1. He's being moved to an afternoon slot
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34415310/ns/msnbc_tv-meet_the_faces_of_msnbc/

"MSNBC anchor Dylan Ratigan, currently host of "The Morning Meeting," will move to 4-5 p.m. ET weekdays as host of "The Dylan Ratigan Show," also starting Monday, Jan. 11. "The Dylan Ratigan Show" will bring viewers information, analysis and viewpoints they won't see anywhere else, as Ratigan follows the money trail to provide viewers a better understanding of issues across the spectrum, from the economy to health care to the latest breaking news. Shannon High will continue to serve as executive producer."

2. I know he's supposed to get a show in the afternoon. I think
his show is to replace the 3pm one that Schuster is on now. They reduced Morning Meeting to 1 hr with Ratigan in Dec. in preparation for that move. I haven't heard exactly when the move is to take place, but I suspect it's soon.

3. MSNBC appears to be trying to reserve the morning for Republicans
Dylan provided some balance after Joe's three-hour campaign info-mercial, so they're dumping him to mid-day where no one will see him. In his place will be Republican shill Savannah Guthrie. MSNBC will now be providing 4-5 hours of uninterrupted GOP propaganda for defense contractor and insurance industry giant General Electric. No doubt Joe Scab will be a regular guest, spinning yarns about "when I was in Congress," and setting up his presidential or Congressional bid for 2010-12.

4. Comcast is reconfiguring MSNBC to make it more conservative.
Or so it appears.

I doubt they'll alter the evening foursome, but they're expanding the GOP hold on the morning. Ratigan is too left leaning on some topics for the powers that be.
