Our response to "terrorism" like heart surgery for a mosquito bite

bin Laden: "All that we have to do is to send two mujahidin to the furthest point east to raise a piece of cloth on which is written al-Qaeda, in order to make the generals race there to cause America to suffer human, economic, and political losses without their achieving for it anything of note other than some benefits for their private companies.

Host George Stephanopoulos interviewed King, who said someone should be held accountable in the wake of the failed terror attempt on Flight 253.

The host asked "one other specific recommendation the president could implement."

"One main thing would be, just himself, to use the word 'terrorism' more often," King said.

1. Yes, they're rev'ing up the HYPE to justify more Drone Executions and increasing
casualties in Afghanistan come the early Spring.

I'm sickened that the Patriot Act has not been fully rescinded as well as the small IMMORALITY of occupying two ME countries.

2. basically, the best thing for preventing planes from exploding is 1) dogs sniffing baggage
2) passengers willing to dogpile and pin anyone taking out a lighter

incinerating people between the Horn of Africa and the Indus, on the other hand, is a counterproductive obscenity

6. In the grand scheme of things, September 11th was *NOTHING*.
It amounted to one month's worth of automobile crash deaths.

But we, as a nation, had a reaction that was the equivalent
of anaphylactic shock and our democratic nation died of it.

If we'd been smart, we wouldn't have reacted much at all,
proving to the "terrorists" that we couldn't be terrorized.
But it greatly suited the Bush agenda to throw the nation
into that anaphylactic, paralytic shock and we'll never
recover fully from that. The government and the media are
still playing the role of terrorist enablers, otherwise we'd
be laughing at the poor shmuck who burned his balls off instead
of demolishing what's left of our airline industry in the name
of "Security Theatre".
