Afghanistan Becoming 'Unmanagable' Says UN Representative

The United Nation's outgoing Representative to Afghanistan, Kai Eide has told the Security Council that the situation in the country is becoming unmanagable.

In his last formal address to the UN, he said he's worried about the strength of the Taliban insurgency.

Mr Eide says many Afghans feel that their country is treated as a 'no man's land' instead of a sovereign nation.

"I am worried about growing impatience in the public opinon of donor countries," he said.

1. This is not necessarily bad news to the Empire.

It wants everyone else out of Af-Pak anyway so it can get its kill on without prying eyes.
