In an interview on the Ed Show, Dorgan said he expects to get the pharmaceutical reimportation law passed this session.

He also said more than once that a bank that is too big to fail is too big, period. He said he's going to fight to reinstate laws that would separate FDIC banks from brokerages and other financial services businesses.

He said that he wouldn't support reappointing Bernanke until the Fed agrees to make public to whom and how much (of "taxpayers'") money was loaned to banks and other financial institutions and what happened to those loans. He said that such "loans" have cost the taxpayers unimagineable sums, trillions of dollars. He said he's "against no-fault capitalism".

Does he feel that he couldn't promote this agenda if he needed DNC money for another election season?
