20. its raining here in alaska where I am. the north pole is sending

the cold down to you guys instead of giving it to us. the coldest I've ever been was -56. my dad drove on the pipeline and one of the camps had a reading of -186. you live about 30 seconds in that cold.

We've had four sizeable snows since October. I haven't seen this for many years.

I'm from Hawaii. 20 was unbelievably cold enough for me. Heck 50 is intolerable.

a lot colder than I'm used to!

There were a few times I was barely able to move my mouth to speak understandably. My eyes felt like they were going to freeze. After coming in from outdoors, it took a while to be able to move my toes again.

You might want to experience extreme cold temps at least once in your life...or maybe not.

13. Well, having lived on the Canadian Prairies...

Down to about -25 you notice the temperature difference. Below that it's more about the difference in how many minutes you can be outside before your extremities start freezing.

As for -17 wind chills... pfft. I was on the phone with my sister the other day, they had -55 wind chill in Edmonton a few weeks ago.

-55 Celsius. That would be -67F.

19. I remember a cold snap where it was -20 or so every day

for about a week. Then we had a day that was +20 and sunny. Everyone at my work place was outside at lunchtime, smiling and laughing over the warm weather.

That is a huge temperature difference. You will notice if you ever have to experience it. You will be able to tell the difference.

Big diff between how -20 & -40 feels too. After -40, it all feels pretty much the same, unless the wind is blowing. If it's exposed skin, you stop feeling it PDQ as it's frozen. The good news is your mind starts to wander a bit too, so stress gets less... as you wander off to die from confusion and cold ;)

...and the plan will all come together. See, we started the myth of Global Warming to get people to take anti-warming measures which will, in reality, accelerate the Global COOLING that is really occuring.

30 years from now we'll ride the advancing glaciers south and conquer all, allowing us to finally move on to finally acheive our ultimate goal as a civilization... declaring every night year round to be Hockey Night In Canada with a televised double-header.

We must only remain patient a short time longer...
