Heads up, Dittoheads and Feminazis. Rush Limbaugh is about to get the Second City treatment, from the team that last year set Rod Blagojevich’s woes to song.

The theater is set to announce next week a February premiere for “Rush Limbaugh! The Musical,” a tuneful send-up of the right-wing radio talker with talent on loan from God.

It’s the new project from Matt Hovde, director of the Second City hit “Rod Blagojevich Superstar!,” and its writers, Ed Furman and T.J. Shanoff. Local improv veteran Mark Sutton (of Annoyance Theater and “Bassprov” fame) will sing the title role.

“Limbaugh” will run Tuesday and Wednesday nights in Second City’s e.t.c. space.

1. This should be fun.

I took a three-day intensive class at Second City last March. Part of the class was getting to see one of their Saturday-night shows. Didn't get to see "Rod Blagojevich, Superstar" but did get to see "America: All Better!," which was their joke on the idea that everything was going to be perfect now that Obama is president. Lots of guest "appearances" by "Rahm Emanuel."
