Don't miss Tweety today
Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 05:45 PM by malaise
For Slade Gorton to suggest that both Bush and Obama were hit in their first eight months to contemplate comparing 9/11 to an attempted bombing is fucking lunacy. Fuck him re the enemy combatant.
ReTHUGS never fail.

Gibbs up now.

1. No thanks
Haven't watched MSNBC or any other cable "news" channel for about 8 months and my life is better for it.

2. I'm gettting to that point now too.
After 9/11 I started paying more attention to the news--started watching MSNBC sometime in 2004. I respect Keith and Rachael, but how many times do I need to hear now stupid the GOP is? I really want something more. I find it by watching Newshour, Frontline and Bill Moyers. Nothing catchy, just in-depth interviews and discussions. When Obama wants to do a serious interview that will last longer than five minutes, he goes to Jim Lehrer who will give him twenty. All the people who work at Newshour ask great questions and probe for good answers.

I guess I've just matured past the gotcha stuff, the worst persons and the cocktail moments.

4. I couldn't believe that crap
We should really email Tweety and demand a comment on that ridiculous comparison. Gorton was also pushing for the military combatant status over the civilian court so it was hilarious having Tweety describe him as a moderate. He sounded like an RW hack.

9. Buchanan is going crazy but Cynthia is tearing him a new one
here. Buchanan seems very upset that 300 people did not die over Detroit.

7. What I don't understand is this.
Most of the policies in place to put names on, and verify them on this list have been in place since the bush administration. Nobody has said one word as to this. Why. I know the Obama administration is gradually changing and tightening up this, but it takes time.

8. No thanks. I watch the BBC news at this time right now while Tweety is on.
It's way superior in coverage than you get from the American broadcast and news channels.
