I always liked to read what he wrote...his intelligence, wit and compassion were always so evident.

And he was a sick, sick bass player. It's hard to make a Ric bass sound good,(lord knows I've tried), and he did, amazingly...

He was honest, funny, kind, passionate, smart, talented and deeply and hopelessly in love with his wife. And she felt the same about him.

My daughter and I were lucky to call him a friend. And what a good friend to have.
