Put your money where your mouth is:
here is a resource for every DUer who has a little bit of money to contribute to PROGRESSIVEs

from actblue comes: the bad dogs page

listing who the "bad dogs are and why", and at a the bottom three fantastic progressive candidates who NEED OUR HELP. Because Rahm is not going to help them get elected, but they represent we the people.

I especially recommend donating to Marcy Winograd's campaiogn. I know her well, and since I have no money to donate this year, intend to walk door to door in her district. Marcy is integrity in person. She is knowledgeable, interested, and fearless. She cannot be bought. period.

So if you are one of the lucky ones, still able to contribute, please read about these 3 Dem fantastic candidates, and adopt one today!

1. Thank you for this.
This is exactly how we should be distributing our money. I'm making a contribution tomorrow morning, bookmarking until then.

3. Thank you for this but
something happen to people we elect that I have become disillusioned about. When they get to Washington they stop working for us and start working for themselves. They are more worried about their reelection than doing what is right. We need to start voting for people who will represent us and when they don't vote them out instead of reelecting them over and over.

6. It's hard to dispute your observation. Nevertheless,
I'm hoping to help convince the Washington Democratic Establishment that their bread is buttered on the left side. Maybe the time will come when I give up on it all too, but until then I intend to do what I can to make it clear that "working for themselves" is synonymous with staying to the left, at least if they plan on being re-elected.

9. I have not given up yet but I am very frustrated.
I wish I knew how to get through to them. They ignore the polls, calls, letters, e-mails, everything.

7. That's why I posted it here. Feel free to create a better post. I'm not the best
OP writer....
I really admire the people who are willing to do this. It is rough for the whole family. It takes extreme dedeccation, and especially when the D establishment is working against you!!!

8. a better post?
my posts usually die a thousand lonely deaths (the last one in the lounge got a mere 1 reply). I was just kicking yours in an offhand way.

Curious and sad though that DU likes to wail about the DLC and conservadems, but when given a chance to actually do something about them, it is met with a collective yawn.
