Lets put aside the fact that Harry said Negro dialect(which by the way my 85 year old grandmother and her friends who all grew up in a culture and region deeply prejudiced against Blacks, has never said nor had my white grandpa)But the fact that he described Obamas light skin as a plus is what kills me!
I am half Hispanic/ half Anglo woman with skin on the browner side (but Harry I at least dont have a beaner dialect :puke:)
My sister on the other hand has fair skin (Isnt that great Harry she can pass for white!!) you can imagine how the whole light skin good , Dark skin bad reality is an intimate subject for me and other people of color(note to Harry it is people of color not colored people). It can take a toll on ones self esteem growing up .

Harry Reid is an embarrassment and should maybe start to think about retiring soon if he is so old and out of touch .

I went to elementary school and middle school in a border town in South Texas. in some circles it was better to be "whiter" while some it was better to be Mexican. I remember vividly being told that I shouldnt think about going out with Alex because he was not a true Mexican because it was his mom was Mexican and not his dad (my dad was the Mexican party in my parental unit) ugggh I am so sick of this shit!!!

7. I think he is an old out of touch embarrassment but yeah seeing through the healthcare bill is

important. He should seriously start to think about retiring after the healthcare bill is resolved if he is that out of touch with modern times. I also think Steele should retire for his out of touch remark about Native Americans
