Job Hunting - some resources

First off, if you use firefox go here:

When you land on a website it shows you similar ones. Using that I came up with these (feel free to add more, like craiglist, etc - also check your state unemployment website for resources)

7. Some of those are aggregators which republish from other sites, including many stale ads.

In case you start using them and think you are encountering stuff you have seen before, you probably are.

You will pick up on the clues. A job will be shown posted "today," you drill down to the apply link, and are greeted with a message that says "this position has been filled."

Another source is hotjobs.com which actually redirects to Yahoo's job search engine. But be aware that this board has a lot of scams mixed in with legit postings. If I were a federal trade commissioner or a state attorney general, I would do a hell of a lot more to close those jobs scams down! There is a lot of predatory stuff going on, including identity theft, in the guise of help wanted.
