Source: George Tenet's Book Will Lead to Cheney's Impeachment
Edited on Tue Apr-24-07 02:24 PM by Cheney Killed Bambi
SO, keep this on the download (heh heh heh). But I have a friend in the "publishing industry" who has read Tenet's book, which is to be released next week. He tells me, anonymously of course, that the book absolutely rips Cheney to shreds. In fact, it pretty much accuses Cheney of the worst things imaginable. His take is that it will lead immediately to Congressional hearings, and then to impeachment hearings (of Cheney, not Bush).

This is going to be HUGE.

I'd like to share more, but can't.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnyway

The book comes out next week. My friend might just be being a little bit too excitable, or maybe, just maybe, this will take the Cheneey misadministration down. . . . with a frikken wrecking ball.

1. Be preferable if it's the later
Although knocking Cheney out would have a couple of interesting effects. It would immediately raise the stature of Kucinich (assuming he's sharp enough to capitalize on it), and it would give them the opportunity to name a heir apparent (although presumably for 2012 rather than 2008.

5. Cheney would pull a Nixon
and leave office under some auspices of "health concerns" or somesuch before he would allow himself to be impeached. Bush at that point is not required to appoint a new VP, because there are less than 2 yrs before his exit (thank god). (If I'm wrong about that, I'm sure someone will let me know.) That leaves a simple Bush impeachment and removal from office as the only thing standing between us and a Democratic executive branch.

for a long chat on his pending book. You would think that bribes or threats would have gone a long way in shutting him up.
I hope he's found a nice secluded place to live far away from Washington and the backlash.
Maybe the CIA honchos are watching his back. They all dispise Cheney I'm sure.

I am sick to death of people "holding onto" their information so they can write a book and SELL us the information/

tenet was a PUBLIC SERVANT..ON THE PAYROLL.. he had a DUTY to disclose/follow up on/investigate whatever wrongdoing he found out about.

It was not his "privilege" to claim it as his own, save it and then sell it in book form AFTER THOUSANDS of people have been killed, due to his negligence/complicity.

BushCo is going to come for Tenet with everything they have.

His claims regarding Cheney have to be public, loud, well documented and he has to become a public person again, for the sake of his personal safety.

Otherwise, he'd have some mysterious accident or something.

not have anything new about 9/11. What is going to hurt the OVP, and Cheney in particular, is information about some of the things that took place between September '02 and February '03, having to do with the build up to the war in Iraq.

If that is the case, it would strike right at the heart of the Neocons agenda and 'shadow government.'

If that takes place, Bush is in for total humiliation --Cheney was calling all the shots, and he was a bystander.

I think that was an OSP cell's operation. I think it will be interesting to see how the neocon/AIPAC espionage case unfolds. It's related: some of the dark forces that were involved in that were also involved in the forgeries, I dare say. These crimes all fall into the Cheney-Rumsfeld form of shadow government.

22. Ok Tenet got his medal, is out of office, and has the entire CIA behind him.....
My guess is that Cheney and Tenet butted heads continuously and that Cheney pushed Tenet 'into a corner' and forced him to confirm 'finding wmds would be a slam-dunk.'

Tenet is no choir boy, but I would doubt that he would bring the wrath of Cheney down on him while Cheney is still in office if there was not some incredibly damning evidence to back up his allegations.

"Mr. Sunshine" may be in for some 'rough weather' in the offing.

IMHO Tenet can keep his medal, his book sales royalties, and escape prosecution, if he exposes the criminality of Cheney and this Administration.

39. Remember when Tenet "Resigned"?
He did so at a strange hour for a resignation. It is my theory that he was fired and offered a deal. The deal was that he would not be prosecuted for his Perjury to Congress in exchange for his silence and also that he would receive The Medal of Freedom. Tenet went along with the lies of the Busholini Regime and Powell's disgraceful testimony at the UN to keep his job. At the same time he was investigation Ahmed Chalabi and revealing that man's duplicity with Iran. The Busholini Regime was determined to shut that investigation down and they succeeded in doing so by firing Tenet. Now Tenet wants to regain his integrity. I doubt that he will succeed in doing so. I also doubt that the House will move forward to Impeach Cheney because the Senate will not vote him guilty of whatever charges are brought forth.

"Mutually Assured Blackmail". Each has the goods on the other. I could never understand why Tenet, a Clinton appointee, wasn't made the fall guy for this administration after 9/11. Then Tenet takes the heat on bad intel for the Iraq War....and leaves with a Medal of Freedom. It don't add up. Both parties have to have damaging information on the other. I'm waiting to see the leaks that attack Tenet's credibility...they ought to be appearing any time now.

You can't slander him now. You've had all this time to dig up dirt on him, but nothing has surfaced.

Hell, he even got a frikken' Medal of Presidential Freedom out of the deal.

Now, when the book comes out, any criticism of Tenet will look like pure, unadulterated SOUR GRAPES.

65. This is why Cheney has a blood clot...
These public pronouncements of Cheney's bad health are all about
creating a legitimate reason for Cheney to step down.

If the heat gets too high--as the administration knows that it well--
Cheney will hearken back to his recent trips to the hospital, his blood
clots, his heart problems and his allergic reaction to his annual rabies
shot.

He'll be able to walk out the back door, and investigations on him will
seem moot. Stories about Cheney's evil will be overshadowed by the new
vice president--most likely McCain or Guiliani.
