Lawrence O'Donnell just slammed Morning Schmoe - but good!
He referred to George Will as "the most intellectually honest conservative on television, present company included".

Joe was PISSED!!

7. Oh I agree
Instead of airing Tweety twice they should give O'Donnell his own show.

4. And Joe couldn't let it go.
LOL he was incensed that O'Donnell said he was intellectually dishonest and went on and on. I loved it, the snarky Joe gets pissed when he's taken to the woodshed.

8. Joe constantly repeated the non-PC words over and over..
O'Donnell deftly languaged it in a way joesmooz had no clue to.

11. Yes I noticed that!
Joe was silent for awhile like he was still comprehending what Lawrence said. Then he started talking about being insulted. LOL

17. Joe and Mika are mynah birds. They get one line and just
keep repeating it all morning. It's because they're lazy. For a political show, these two are woefully uninformed. Couldn't their assistants give them the GWB 15 minute speed synopsis? Their guests either look on them in disbislief or shred them.
They're a joke.

6. Did Mika rescue Joe?
O`Donnell must have thrown her automatic nod habit off kilter.

10. She was doing the thing with her mouth where she looks like she is going to say
something, but gives up and stays quiet, sometimes nodding, sometimes just looking away. I guess she thinks it makes her look like she is really going to contribute something to the conversation but nothing comes out of her mouth...it is so strange.

18. Too funny. You're so right about this mannerism.
Most of the time when Mika does talk, she speaks nonsense: "Well, I guess we'll have to wait and see." or "I'm just not sure at this point." I wish a woman with a stronger presence was on that show. Mika is an anachronism. She seems to be (like Pleasantville) thrown at us out of a '50's sitcom.

9. I quit watching this show - but I miss Lawrence O'Donnell.
I wish he would get his own show. Much as I like him, I just can't watch Joe or Mika anymore. Neither bothers to do any homework. Joe just talks about his glory days in Congress and Mika never has more to add than wifey homilies.

12. Only reason I turned it on was to see Howard Dean
I gave it up months ago. Can't stand Schmoe or his drunken sidekick Mika.

19. Dean did his Ivy League thing on Joe (and I think for a reason).
He did the Ivy League ridicule, along with the eyebrows jumping, and a little bit of a smirk. He was really quite suave and cool. I've seen that Ivy League put down a million times (ex husband is Harvard man and I live in New Haven, home of Yale). Joe is out manoevered whatever he does and Dean knows it. I like it. I like seeing it in action against people I can't stand...

22. Maybe that is our weakness, sitting back and enjoying such a showing..
for too many, it would be enough...I still wish I had seen it though only to get pointers for doing the same thing to others similar to ole joe and sadly there are far too many of him these days..way too many....

23. Well, I think people like Joe feel intimidated in the presence of smart Ivy Leaguers.
You can tell Joe hates it because he often refers to his education at a state school with some defensiveness (which he really shouldnt do). Dean also talks very fast, which is another characteristic of Ivy Leaguers...Jodie Foster, a Yalie, does it to this day in her acting. It's something they acquire (most likely in prep school before the Ivies, tho).

informed than the rest of the so-called journalists.
