Capitalism is a scam
A huge fucking pyramid scheme.

The corporations and banks own our government.

The republicans are corporate party A

The Democrats are corporate party B (just a kinder gentler fucking in the ass)

It is time to create a peoples party to retake our government

I nominate Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich and Bernie Sanders to create a new party.

K&R if you agree.....

3. any pure orthodoxy is a scam.
there are two parts to that governance is by the consent of the governed:

1. the governed
2. the people doing the governing, and they usually also control the press.

9. Neither does fascism (neo-feudalism). Socially regulated (cooperative) capitalism appears the best
so far. Not that we can't come up with something better, we should remain open to the possiblity.

15. regulation is key to capitalism
Otherwise, monopolies form, destroying the competitive market. Our economy is trending toward facism, which needs to be stopped.

12. The trouble is that capitalism is a con game
Capitalism is based on the promise that everybody can get rich because the pie will keep getting bigger forever. But it can't -- and even pretending it can depends on (1) raping the planet, (2) exploiting everybody who can't fight back, and (3) smoke and mirrors.

I'll grant you that in theory the free market has a degree of responsiveness to actual needs that command economies don't -- but capitalism isn't the free market. Anything but.

If we could have a free market that was designed for sustainability rather than the illusion of perpetual growth -- and that was set up to prevent monopolies, restraint of trade, price-rigging and the like -- there might be an ideal system buried in there somewhere. But we're never going to get to it as long as those immortal bloodsucking vampires known as corporations control the planet.

13. You mean corporatism? This has as much in common with
Adam Smith as the USSR had with Marx.
