I've got Yoo's earlier book, I'm writing a scholarly piece on international human rights. Yoo's ideas are seriously flawed and he advocates for what IS crimes against humanity on the international level REGARDLESS of his domestic shell game of definitions. This question answers itself; Does international law apply in international tribunals? (like the INt'l Criminal court?) Of course it does.

ONly be redefining US law to gut it of protections and hope the US will not extradite ever can Yoo hope to be safe from indictment. He's already being sued civilly by Jose Padilla, for example.

But it is Jon Stewart who is as charming as he was relentless.
He often says of his show  that it is a fake news program but
it with his disarming sense of humour that JS shines brightly.
His closing statements about not to wanting to demonise
decision makers just adds to his credit. These are the debates
we needed to have in the last 8 years. Face to face, calm,
probing and insisting on justification. At no time do I think
that Jon is the star of the show. He just lets the inanities
and stupidity speak for themselves  and links them with wit
and charm. Most other talk show hosts are the 'star' and their
crying and bluster and rant are the show.
