When Lauer called him on it, he gave some lame excuse that he "wouldn't know who said it" then did his Sen. McGrumpypants schtick. It was shocking and made me drop to my knees thanking God that Obama was elected president even though I'm an agnostic. ;-)

McCain was more than willing to comment on the "Reid problem", saying that liberals were being inconsistent by asking for Trent Lott's resignation but not Reid's. But when Lauer tried to discuss the Palin revelations made in the SAME BOOK he didn't want to discuss it because it was two years ago (as was Reid's remark) and wasn't important in the context of the wars going on in Afghanistan and Iraq. What a hypocritical old fart.
