1. Apparently there was a terrible hospital collapse in Haiti.

Many people are trapped alive.

2. Apparently the tsunami warning extends only about 60 miles

out from the epicenter. This wasn't an undersea earthquake and there is no report of a significant land movement into the sea, so it's strictly a local event.

People in south Florida might see one slightly larger wave, but even that is a stretch.
