I just watched Conan's show from last night on Hulu.

Cracked me up.

He and Andy are funnier than hacky Leno ever was.

1. I always thought so, too

but it helps if you've got a functioning brain (don't need one for Leno) and it also helps if you're Irish or understand the humor.

2. I always like Conan

(but I'm Irish).

My nephew is a big fan as well and we both agree that something about the new show is "off". We both think it might be the move from NYC. I caught Triumph the Insult Dog on last week doing a bit where he insisted they needed to go back to New York - I think he may have been right.

3. I don't think Conan much likes LA, either

and I know a lot of people from NY/New England who simply have not been able to make that transition.

This might come as a great relief to him, out of his contract with NBC and free to go to somebody who will let him do what he does best BACK EAST.
